Our MISSION
An adventure of a life time on the Indian Ocean brought three men together to explore ways to end the plastic horror engulfing our marine life.
By using the latest in video and camera technology we will provided continuous insight into our travels, capturing life at sea, all action on board the motor yacht ACHARNE.
Our journey started early June, 2018 in Cape Town, South Africa. We traveled up the East Coast to Durban and Richards Bay before crossing the Mozambique channel to the SW tip of Madagascar. We then headed up the West coast via the Barren Islands to Nosy Be. From Nosy Be we visited the Amirante Islands before stopping in the Seychelles. Our next leg was to the Maldives via the British Indian Ocean Territories
One of the great things about the ocean is that no one can build on it, it’s a vast open space with a huge variety of beautiful creatures living on, and in it, all needing our protection. Our mission was, and still is, to create Plastic Pollution awareness using the power of visual media platforms and to provide research into micro plastics and the effects on marine life.
Now we face our most challenging mission yet, to find support and distribution for our documentary so we are able to release it to a worldwide audience. Stay with us as we embark on this second mission with hopefully more to come!
